If you have created new security profiles and receive above error when uploading documents, refer to resolution below.

Usually the admin profile will be working as it is granted full access by default.

Resolution

1. Go to Administration
2. Select Security profiles under Users
3. Edit the profile linked to the user getting the error
4. Enable “Allow Office document upload”
5. Save and exit
6. Login and test with affected user.
