Part of the preparation for Tax Year-end requires a copy system to be created from your final February payroll system, before starting your first March payroll.
The February month-end copy system will be used to prepare, reconcile (if you have not done it prior to starting March) and submit your EMP501 declaration and employee tax certificates for the Annual Employer Reconciliation Submission to SARS.
