LEAVE DAY METHOD OF CALCULATION - USE OR LOSE CONCEPT

Firstly I want to know with the Leave MOC, is it possible to write a MOC that when the employees cycle ends that the balance of the leave carries over to another line i.e. USE OR LOSE and then expiring after six months.

I have played around the whole day with this, but I cannot find a field in any of the MOC where it actually gives the option to use end of cycle date?

Has anybody tried this before and managed?

    Hi MWENTZEL,

    The clearing of leave balances is managed by the Leave Control screen. In the example below:

    • Leave Line 01 and 05 has the same leave type, and applications work in a sequence
    • Line 01 Annual - When the employees new cycle starts (based on Date Engaged), the positive leave balance will be carried forward to Leave Line 05
    • Line 05 Accrued Ann - When the employee's cycle start 6 month's greater than the cycle date of Line 01, the leave will be cleared
    • In some instances, users prefer to move the leave balance to a Lost Leave line to keep track of the days not taken by the employee, after the cycle
