what is the EVS file?
Every time we log into the Payroll it is giving this message : Updating EVS with new employees
This is really time consummng as we do have a lot of employees on our payrolls.
We went throug the process a few times and it seem that it is sorted out now.
The EVS file is related to the Employment Verification Services feature included in Release 6.0a. Please refer to the Releae Notes for more information:
Not sure who gave Sage permission to access and retain Personal Info from Employees on their Servers.
This is not in line with POPI
Whether it relates to something on a VIP update or not is besides the point, when we do certain functions on vip, we get the same error, and it runs for 2 hours at a time.. for something we don't even use...! they really need to clear this up

This EVS with nee employees causing havoc in the last week. Our system hangs and corrupts the entire company that the EVS is running on. We had sent a ticket to SAGE and still no response. Did anyone else experience this? If so what was the solution?
