The error is not related to the Sage software but is related to Microsoft Office and the services of the computer.
The following solution has been suggested - please let us know if this solves the issue:
Repair Microsoft Office
Office 365
Older versions of MS Office:
Check the RPC service
Hint: When you load the SMART software, you must also load the new templates (in the zip file), as the installation will overwrite the existing reports

Hi Shazi, i have tried our solution as above and it still doesnt work.
I have spoken to your support and they said its a general issue. When is this going to be sorted out as we need to sort this out ASAP for our clients we do payrolls for?
Also tried the above on a few clients with no luck. what is causing this all of the sudden?
