The error is not related to the Sage software but is related to Microsoft Office and the services of the computer.

The following solution has been suggested - please let us know if this solves the issue:

Repair Microsoft Office

Office 365

• Click on Start and search for Office under your applications
• Right-click then select Manage > App Settings
• Select Repair

Older versions of MS Office:

• Access Control Panel > Programs and Features
• Right-click on Microsoft Office and select "Repair"

Check the RPC service

• On your Windows Search bar, search for "services"
• Run Services
• Search for "RPC" to locate the service
• Ensure the service is running - if not, you can stop and restart the service

Hint: When you  load the SMART software, you must also load the new templates (in the zip file), as the installation will overwrite the existing reports

Hi Shazi, i have tried our solution as above and it still doesnt work.

I have spoken to your support and they said its a general issue. When is this going to be sorted out as we need to sort this out ASAP for our clients we do payrolls for?

Also tried the above on a few clients with no luck. what is causing this all of the sudden?
