Good day Dennis, What exactly is happening? Can you provide more information?
Hi Dennis
Please ensure you have the excel templates (HistPay List) in your Advisor folder. You must also ensure that the VIPCAL.EXE file exists in your payroll directory
Regards
Avril
I checked and all those files are there. Below is the error message even though I enabled all macros. It cuts across clients who are using MS Office 365
Hi Dennis - what you need to do here is, open up an blank Excel document, File>Options>Trust Centre>Trust Centre Settings
Make sure your Macro settings are set:
Then go to Trust Locations and go add the location of your VIP: For example, if you folder is on G:\Premier, add that location.
Then run the report again.
Thank you. However, I cannot add a remote location to the trusted locations as the report is being exported on a workstation in a client server environment.
The system is looking for the csv file to merge with - the csv files are written to the respective VIP folder for the system you are accessing. If the system is installed on a server, and you are remoting in directly onto the server, then the server will be the place where you add the trusted location.
If the application is installed on a server and the user is accessing it via a shortcut from their workstation's desktop, then you need to ensure it is mapped to a drive because then you can add that location as a trusted location. I hope I am understanding you correcting and that we are not talking past each other :-)
Hello Shani, yes, I was referring to the second one.
I was able to add the location but still having the same error.
Ok check this as well:
and
Hm. Please, I did all these but still having the error.
Hi have you been able to find a solution to the problem as I've also got the same issue right nw and this is the only page I have come across that has the same issue as mine.
I was finally able to resolve it. You have to go to Start Menu >> Internet Options >> Security Tab >> Click on Sites and add the path of the map driver as trusted site. Make sure you untick Require server verification.
