The latest version for Sage VIP Classic and Premier is available to download on the Customer Zone as from 21 November 2019.
This is a compulsory update for RSA Employment Equity Users.
Take note: All related software (Premier ESS 9.5 and Premier HR 19.11.0.1) is also available to download on the Customer Zone).
Included in the Release 5.3b software update:
- RSA Employment Equity reporting changes
- Africa tax table, bank file and report changes (DRC, Angola, Malawi, Lesotho, Kenya, Zimbabwe)
- Items resolved/request implemented

Some important details of this update:
- Users must install Release 5.3b in before submitting your 2019 Employment Equity reports to the Department of Labour
- The update must be installed before final payments have been made and reports have been printed. We recommend that you install the software in a new pay period.
- This is a compulsory update for Employment Equity Users, but any user can install the update to include the new features and items resolved, as well as Africa Tax Country changes

Where can I download the software?
- Log onto the Customer Zone and select the applicable product from the Update menu option, to access the software
Should Premier HR or Premier ESS users install Release 5.3b?
- All Premier HR and Premier Employee Self Service users must also update their Premier HR and Premier ESS systems respectively to the latest versions, to ensure smooth integration with Premier Payroll Release 5.3b.
- Premier HR v19.11.0.1 is now available as from 27 November 2019.
How do I know if the software for Release 5.3b has been installed successfully?
- The release number version will be displayed at the top of the Company Listing Screen.
