I am unable to complete a start of period into April 2019. The following message displays - "Cannot roll into April 2019 on Release 5.1a" 

Am I able load the update to Release 5.2a without affecting the March payroll values, as it has been finalised already?

Release 5.2a is a mandatory update and it was supposed to be installed in March, before paying employees. If payroll is updated now, recalculations will take place. Users are required to balance back the March payroll, before accessing April 2019. Failure to follow the correct procedures will result in reconciliation issues at a later stage

When does the Employer Annual Reconciliation (EMP501) season open?

The Payroll Authors of Group of South Africa (PAGSA) has confirmed with SARS, that the annual reconciliation submission period will open on 17 April 2019 and close on 31 May 2019. Due to the shorter submission period, we urge all customers to prepare and submit their reconciliation on e@syFile as soon as filing season commences, to avoid the last minute rush. 

Remember to complete your submission on the latest e@syFile release. Please note that the Sage VIP Support desk will not be able to assist you with the updating of the e@syFile software nor with JAVA related queries. Please contact SARS on 0800 00 7277.

I get the following message when trying to create my IRP5 file - "IRP5 file not copied to alternate directory". What does this mean?

During the export process, you can select to browse to another location to save the IRP5 file. If you select an alternate location, you will receive the message above.

As a workaround, please try the following:

Create the IRP5 file in the VIP system folder, then copy the file from the system folder to an alternate folder of your choice. Read more on this error here.

I am on Release 5.2a in my February copy system and I am printing the OID (W.As.8) report but the OID limit is incorrect. How do I fix this?

We have a new Excel OID template available to correct the ceiling value on page 2 of the spreadsheet. Copy the template into the "Advisor" folder within your VIP directory.

I am struggling to import my Kenya Citidirect and Botswana Standbic bank files after installing Release 5.2a. Is there a problem with my VIP files?

Amendments have been made to the Kenya Citidirect DFT and the Botswana Stanbic nBOL bank files on the system report platform:

Will there be an update for the Skills module, ahead of the 30 April 2019 Skills submission deadline?
