RUN-TIME EROR "53": FILE NOT FOUND WHEN PULLING HISTORY REPORTS EMP501 RECONCILIATION

Hi when I select the History; Reports; EMP501 Reconciliation. The error message "Run-time error "53": File not found" appears on the screen and the Paye, Sdl & Uif totals don't pull through to the excel sheet.

Please could you advise what I must do in order for the monthly Paye, Sdl & Uif totals to pull though from VIP.

    Thank you for making contact with us on the Sage City forum. 

    This error message indicates the Excel template does not find the specific file to merge with, to generate the report.

    This can be caused by:

    • multiple instances of the report is open
    • environmental issues (unable to find files to merge)
    • incorrect file association
