Question

To my understanding the below says that we can now claim for all employees R500 regardless of age for 4 months because of the COVID 19. (and if you already claimed). And the current claims will be upped to R1500.00 
 
 Is my understanding correct? 
 How will this be applied in payroll? 
 Will there be an update from Sage? 
 If manually how do we calculate?

 The Ministry of Finance published a Media Statement and Explanatory Notes on the proposed Covid-19 tax relief measures on 29 March 2020. 
 According to the Media Statement, the Draft Bills will be published 1 April 2020. 
 At this time these are seen as proposed changes and gives an indication of the intention. 
 Sage is currently investigating these reported changes with the required stakeholders to get clarification and more information on these and other questions.
