Unable to login to the SAGE 200c software

Good Day, the Sage 200c software refuses to open. Even when I try to open offline I am unable to log in altogether. the message it gives me "Unable to connect" I am not sure what to do.

    Hi Pelokazi,

    The might be different reasons why this is happening, below are possible solutions that might resolve the issue.Please let us know if the solutions resolve the issue.

    Possible solutions:

    • The URL or shortcut you use to access Sage 200c VIP is incorrect - copy the URL from the server and create a new shortcut to the URL manually - the address should be e.g. http:\\server:3000 
    • Sage 200c VIP ports might be blocked by the firewall, IT should open all default ports - this is not something we can do, and should be checked on the server (check the ports and ensure under Advanced, that Public, Private and Domain is ticked to be included). IT can use Telnet to access the IP address and port. 
    • The network is down, and server cannot be reached - report this issue to IT 
    • The server is currently off - check if you can remotely access the server 
    • The Sage 200c VIP Runtime has been uninstalled on the server - check on the Control Panel is Sage 200c Runtime is installed, and there is a folder Sage 200c VIP folder in the location c:\Programs File (x86)\Sage , with the Desktop, Runtime, Settings and Site subfolders
    •  You are attempting to access the Sage 200c system from a remote location (over the internet) - it must be on the LAN (local area network)
    •  Sage 200c Web Service is not running - Access services.msc, and restart all 3 Sage services:

              - Sage 200c Connect Service

              - Sage 200c Web Service

              - Sage Connected Service
