The new Tax File (Version 202205) for Zimbabwe was deployed on Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional on 14 November 2022.

Zimbabwe’s Finance (No. 8) Act of 2022, it contains the following changes that affect payroll processing:

• Act No. 8 of 2022 FINANCE 2022.pdf
• ZIMRA PAYE Tax Tables Effective Aug 2022.pdf

The changes were published end of October 2022.

Tax tables - See Section 3

• Below is the local currency (ZWL) tax tables for the various tax periods.
• The US Dollar tax tables remain unchanged for 2022 tax year.
• Effective 1 August 2022.      

Bonus exemption – See Section 14(b)

• The tax-free bonus has increased to ZWL500 000.
• The foreign currency tax-free threshold remains unchanged at US$700.
• Effective 1 November 2022
