Easyfile 2021_08 submissions and commission directives

SUGGESTED

I do the payroll for an estate agency and some of the agents have directives for commission earnings issued by SARS. The import file failed due to the directives and the report tells me that I need to enter the directive issued date, directive income source code and directive income amount. however, the payroll system only has place for this for lump sum directives - there is no source code for 3606 - commission. how do I comply for commission directives? I am using the latest version of SAGE Payroll Professional 5.7a and the latest version of Easyfile 7.1.7

    Good day justjenny

The details of lumpsums field is for lumpsum directives only. You can use the fixed rate directive only if the employee's tax status is: Directive %, Directive (Director),  Non Resident Non Executive Director (Directive).

    Kind regards

    Hi Lungile

Thank you for your reply. However, this did not answer my question.

The agents with directives have been set to Directive %, and directive numbers and percentages entered in the relevant fields, but SARS Easyfile has rejected the submission and are requiring the same extra details that they require for lump sum directives.

There is nowhere on the SAGE Payroll Professional system to enter these except for Lump Sum directives, so either Easyfile is not correct or SAGE Payroll Professional is not correct and I am in the middle of these two!
