Are you applying Medical Aid increases in January?

Some Medical Aid companies have distributed their 2022 medical aid rates, which take effect from January 2022. These updated rates must then be applied on the payroll in January, before employee salaries/wages are processed and paid.

Changes to the medical aid amounts may be captured directly on the employee payslip screen or via payroll Methods of Calculation. Before we head into February being the final month in the tax year, we recommend that you verify all employee Medical Aid beneficiaries.
