Some companies apply employee salary/wage increases in January. Apart from updating each employee’s Increase (INC) screen with the new salary/wage, you may make use of Batch processing or Global Increases. Use of Flexi Financial imports are also available to payroll administrators. These options are helpful when you have several employees and want to update their records quickly.
Top tip: Employee increases must always be applied before any payroll processing takes place, as to ensure that all other payroll calculations are based on the higher pay rate.
