The effective date is 13 August 2021.

The new tax tables are applicable for the full month of August.

How do I know if the latest tax tables have been implemented in my payroll company?

From the main menu, click on Payroll > Definitions > Africa Rule Linking - Tax version must be 202106.

Will I be able to make corrections for previous periods?

The Malawi tax calculation is a monthly tax calculation and therefore no corrections for previous periods will apply.
