Please take note of the below SARS notice regarding two issues:
- Taxpayers to whom 2021 income tax assessments were issued instead of auto-assessments.
- Employers who facilitated donations made by employees to the Solidarity Fund between 1 April 2020 – 30 September 2020 for which IRP5 code 4055 was used on the tax certificates, are asked to urgently resubmit their tax certificates and EMP501 reconciliation as soon as possible (before 9 July 2020).
