IMPORTANT NOTICE: Namibia Employment Equity History issue

Take note: This notice is only applicable for customers using the Employment Equity Module in their Namibian payroll companies.

We are aware of an issue affecting Namibian tax country companies, licensed for the Employment Equity Module, and are actively using the module on Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional.

What is the issue?

When a Namibian company has been updated and converted from Release 5.4a to Release 5.4b or 5.4c, the Employment Equity History data on the Employment Equity History screen will have cleared for the Namibian company employees.

Furthermore, when running the Equity Report for the Namibian company the report will not generate.

How to determine if you have been affected?

  • Your company is linked to Namibia as Tax Country on the Basic Company Information screen
  • You are licensed for the Employment Equity Module
  • When you access the Employment Equity History screen of any employee (from the Main Menu, select Equity, Employment Equity History Screen), all previous Equity History information prior to when the update was done, has been cleared
