Software update: Release 5.4a released on 06 March 2020

When you launch you system the first time as from 06 March 2020, you will be prompted to update all your payroll companies to Release 5.4a.

Take note of the important notice on the subscription landing page

You will have the option to Update Now (which will convert the data to the new version and apply the new changes, should be done in new pay period) or Later (continue with Release 5.3b, for example you have not rolled into a new pay period). The update must be installed in March 2020, and all users are urged to access and update as soon as possible. 

Take note, that applying the update will change the tax of employees based on the new tables in the new tax year.

The process will convert all payroll data to the new version. Once completed, the new version number will reflect at the top of the Company Listing

Included in this software update:

  • RSA Legislative changes (Tax tables 2020-2021, UIF and termination statuses, ETI and NMWA, Foreign Employment Income Exemption)
  • Africa tax changes (Ghana, DRC, Nigeria, Zimbabwe)
  • Africa Report changes (Nigeria, Rwanda, Existing reports)
  • Requests, new features implemented and items resolved
  • RSA: Other legislative changes
