Zambia: National Health Insurance - Effective 1 October 2019

Zambia has introduced a new statutory contribution called The National Health Insurance (NHI) under The National Health Insurance Act No.2 of 2018. This is a health insurance scheme which entitles contributing members to a predetermined set of healthcare benefits.

  • I checked this insurance but it hasn't so many benefits that others insurances. I started my own business some months ago and I wanted the small group health insurance for me and my employees. I found the best one which offers the best benefits at that moment in the insurance marketplace. I mean they even include dental and the ophthalmologist and that, not every insurance has stuff like this.
