SARS is upgrading their information technology (IT) systems and migrating to a new platform between 12 and 16 April 2019.
Taxpayers may experience intermittent downtime from 17H00 on Friday 12 April to 06H00 on Tuesday 16 April 2019.
The migration will impact the following systems:
- SARS eFiling website and the eFiling app (including registrations, filing, making payments and uploading supporting documentation),
- SARS [email protected]TM Employer, and
- SARS website.
If a taxpayer requires any assistance during this period they can go to any SARS branch or contact the SARS Call Centre.
If a taxpayer must make a payment during this period they can use one of the alternative payment methods available (click here for more information).
