Latest Update - 2020 Update 1a (Released 15 May 2019)

The latest update, 2020 Update 1a is available for download on our Download Manager.

This update includes some legislative requirements as set out in the BRS V18.0.2 spec that is applicable for the Bi-Annual submissions for 2019.  Some of these changes include:

  • A new tab on Setup, Company Parameters, Statutory called Tax Contact information and includes information pertaining to the particulars of the companies contact person in regards to PAYE
  • The below tax totals have been added to the system and the transactions will automatically re-align to the tax totals once the Legislative Release has been completed on this update:
    • 3607 - Overtime
    • 3833 - Benefits for council employer contributions
    • 3834 - Non Taxable benefits for loan
    • 3584 - Employer's Bargaining Council Contribution
    • 4585 - Employer's pension fund contributions
    • 4586 - Employer's provident fund contributions

New enhancements have also been added in this update, some of these enhancements include:

  • A progress bar has been added when creating Sage Self Service Batches
  • A clear certificate numbers has been built into the system and can be found under the Utility tab
  • Payslip Passwords have now become mandatory for employees who's Payslips get uploaded to Self Service
  • The Self Service Administrator password will need to be changed to conform to the requirements of a Strong Password

As with every update, it is essential that a Legislative release is done in all the companies after the update has been done.

Note: Microsoft has stopped their support for windows XP and Server 2003 in 2014 and 2015 respectively.  Due to this, these Operating systems can’t install the .Netframework required for running Payroll and doesn’t  have access to the new fonts used on our update. The Payroll program will no longer work on these operating systems.  For more details on what products we can support please click here.
