ETI Discrepancy

SOLVED

Good Day,

We have discovered a major discrepancy in the ETI reporting found under VIEW--> STATUTORY REPORTS --> EMP201--> ETI REPORT

The ETI Data for particular periods seem to have changed from when the ETI report was pulled during the relevant period to when the same report is pulled for the same period now.

For Example, when we pulled the ETI report at the end of November 2021, this is what all of our reporting and submissions was based on.

However, when we pull the ETI Report for November 2021 now, there is quite a number of employees that appeared on the report in November 2021 that does not appear on the same report now.

After conducting a time-consuming manual reconciliation, we have found that the data as it was at November 2021 would be accurate and includes all of the adjustments as per the COVID-19  TAX RELIEF MEASURES in effect at the time. The same report pulled now then seems to give an incorrect summary of employees as it omits quite a number of employees, that would have qualified.

Similarly, we have an employee who turned 30 in September 2022. Therefore he would still have qualified for the ETI up to end of August 2022.
However, this employee does not reflect on any monthly ETI report we pull now for the period of March 2022 up to August 2022.

This Employee did however appear on the reports when they were pulled during the relevant months in question.

This has cast doubt on the accuracy of the ETI figures calculated on the Pastel System and therefore we require urgent feedback so as to explain these discrepancies.
