Client Server

Good Day

I have got a question in regards to the client server pervasive.  When we login from a workstation via the map drive the logon creates 2 login profiles in the monitor on the server.  the one does have active files in the session and the other profile is just an empty sessions.  This then take up 2 licenses of the pervasive license in stead of just one.

What causes this and how can one fix it.

The build is Pervasive 10 service pack 3, 32 bit.

    Haven't seen It create 2 sessions like that. Is this only on 1 machine or all the workstations? What is the error that you are getting In Pastel? Have you tried to reinstall Pervasive on the machine?

    Usually the setup is, 1 login uses up a single license on the License administrator. Please check if you are getting any errors on Pastel from the server as well?

    kindly assist here. Is it possible for a workstation to access the data stored in the server, again is it possible for a workstation to have some rights as the server.
