2020/2021 Annual EMP501 Reconciliation Submission Dates

SARS published a notice on their website w.r.t the annual EMP501 reconciliation submission dates, which will be from 1 April 2021 – 31 May 2021. Should these dates change, it will be communicated on Sage City Announcements, News and Alerts.

TERS Benefit Extended

The Minster of Employment and Labour has extended the TERS benefit from 16 October 2020 to 15 March 2021. Please click here to view the new Direction. 

Return of Earnings (W.As.8) Submission Extended

The Return of Earnings (W.As.8) submission for 2020/2021 has been extended to the 31st of May 2021. The online portal for submitting the return will be opened from 1 April 2021 to 31 May 2021. Please click here to view the notification.

OID Threshold Increase

The Minister of Employment and Labour published Government Gazette 44238, increasing the OID earnings threshold.
