Hi Onphet
Please confirm the following:
Have you every been able to successfully import cashbook batches without any error or issue?
If yes, please confirm what may have changed since then to now?
Kind Regards
Bennie
Good Morning Bennie, yes they last managed to import the batches on the 14 September 2022, and the client is saying they do not know of any change that has happened
Thanks Onphet
Let's start with the basics here:
1. Ensure all users are logged out of the company and make a backup of the company
2. Go to GL | Maintenance | GL Relink (ensure all options are selected)
3. Check if the GL Relink reveal any errors/issues not resolved in the Message Log Viewer (You should receive a message prompt after the Relink is run to check the Message Log Viewer)
3. When done, close and re-open the company and then test if your query has been resolved and send me an update.
Blessings!
Bennie
Thank you Bennie
Have Just done the GL relink and everything seems fine by looking at the log file
I have also changed the VER_DB downwards and ran an upgrade to refresh the views to no avail
I have even taken the backup offsite, thinking it has to do with the environment still the error persist.
regards
Onphet
Thanks Onphet
Ok, please do the following:
1. Log your query with Evolution Support using the link below
https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/4c5023eeaff24b05839f55753b05c465
2. But in the new query logging, specifically request that the new query be sent to my attention as per request in this Sage City post.
Blessings!
Bennie
Hello Bennie, I hope you are keeping well. Were you able to find a fix for this problem?
Hi Onphet
The above cashbook error was due to a known software bug in Evolution ver 10.1, logged as IS-15394
Fortunately, it has been fixed in Evolution ver 11.0.4.0 which you can download from the Sage FTP website.
Kind Regards
Bennie
Hi Bennie, this bug seems to be back from V7.00 as the client I am dealing with is experiencing the problem is using V7.00.207.
Hi Ryan
I just first need to make sure we are on the same page:
Please confirm the exact Evolution version and build in which you are also observing the error.
And is the bug you refer to, related to the same error message (see screenshot above in the chat of 6 months ago) importing of cashbook batches?
Kind Regards
Bennie
Hi Bennie,
Evolution Version is V7.00.207.
The client is receiving the exact same message. The only fix we had found was to delete a few customers to allow the "SELECT * FROM CLIENT" script to execute quicker.
Kind regards,
Ryan
Thanks, Ryan
Yes, the only solution is to upgrade to Evolution ver 11.0.4.0 in which this matter has been resolved.
I've also sent you a mail about this matter.
Blessings!
Bennie
