Retail POS taking long to start after login

Greetings,

I am facing this issue where after entering the login credentials to reatail POS it takes 20-30 minutes for it to finally load. Sage loads fast but the retail POS is taking a long period to start. Running trace on mssql this query _psessionrefresh keeps on being executed continously.

The sage evolution version am running is 7.20.9.0.010.

Assistance would be highly appreciated.

    Can you please confirm the following answers with regards to your query?

    1. Are all users observing the same issue on their own Retail tills?

    2. Was it working fine earlier? If yes, can you please advise what recently changed? E.g. upgrade, new workstation / server etc.?

    3. Please confirm the exact number of seconds it take to open the Retail POS till screen after double clicking on it.

    4. Once logged into the till and normal processing commence, are you satisfied with the processing and navigation speeds?
