How can set cost price automatically in a purchase order in order entry Module?
Good day
May you please rephrase your question?
Many thanks,
EM.
How can we set cost price for an Item?
Okay - thanks for that.
When you receive an item, the system picks the last GRV cost as the assumed cost for your document. You can import/input this cost when you create your stock items in the system.
How can we set cost on Item Input/Import?
You can import/input this cost when you create your stock items in the system.
Thanks In advance
Jeejoe
To set the cost per item, depending on your Evolution version:
1. Use Evolution DDS - for version 7 and below
2. Use Data Import - function within Evolution
3. Manually capture the cost on the item when you create it under Inventory > Maintenance > Inventory Items. (There is a pricing tab - depends if you are using cost per item or cost per warehouse)
Manually capture the cost on the item when you create it under Inventory > Maintenance > Inventory Items. (There is a pricing tab - depends if you are using cost per item or cost per warehouse)
The pricing tab is for setting price lists-- Price list is for sell price.
Actually I want to set the cost price for an item ( Purchase Order)
See screenshot attached.
We are using latest version. 10.1.2.001
Hi Jeejoe
Yes, i agree with Emelda. Evolution remembers the Last GRV cost when you purchase the same stock item on a future GRV/PO
But in addition you can also consider accessing and working with the Procing matric add on module that allows you to setup specific stock item prices per supplier combinations.
Kind Regards
Bennie
In that case go under warehouses - you are using cost per warehouse.
Choose the warehouse and you will see another pricing tab.
Hi Bennie,
Yes, you are right, evolution remembers the last GRV. But the issue is while creating an Item Or importing by Sage DDS, How we can set this for a new item in a new company.
Thanks in Advance.
Jeejoe
Hi Jeejoe
Well, that is an interesting question
But unfortunately that is a value that you should determine yourself as there is simply no way that Evolution will know this value.
Kind Regards
Bennie
Hi Bennie,
One of my client have 12k+ Item, If it is possible to set cost price at the same time while creating/importing it is easy to them.

Jeejoe
Hi Jeejoe
Yes, that should be no problem at all.
You can set the correct item cost when the new item is created / imported.
Kind regards
Bennie
