How can we setup sage evolution enterprise to automatically log someone out after some time of no activity?

We have limited licences and some users at our branches forget to sign out. \that leave other users not to be able to login.

Thank you

    Hi Roelf

You're asking a very good question. But no, Evolution currently doesn't have the ability to automatically kick out an agent after a predetermined amount of time.

That being said, you can always consider having such a feature developed by a third-party developer, in the form of some sort of pre-scheduled trigger/stored procedures.

I'm thinking of having this foreign object set to run e.g. every 2-3 hours (using the MS SQL built in, or Windows Scheduling utility) as it looks specifically for any user inactivity and then logs out those agents it found.

    Kind Regards

    Bennie

Can this be added into a future release as this is a good idea even if licenses weren't a issue

Options to remove users manually would be good too as this cant be done for a admin point of view either

    Hi Guys
Are you not looking for the following feature which is available on version 7 & higher versions.
Please go to Administration>System Configuration> System Wizard > Login Security
    Agent Lock Out
This feature allows you to specify the number of login attempts allowed by an agent, as well as specify a duration whereby the system will automatically lock on behalf of the agent.
    To enable agent lock out
Check the Enable Lock Out check box.
Specify the number of attempts allowed.
Specify the time frame in case of no activity for the system to lock down.

This doesn't really help as the problem is user leave the user logged in when the system is not in use and goes home for example
