Is there a way to increase the number of rows Sage Intelligence will render to Excel? Modern versions of Excel allow over a million rows of data on a sheet, so why is SI restricting the number of rows to 50 000?

Hi Mathew,
Am not aware of any restricitions from SI side, what report is this and does it give any error?
Hi Desree. Thanks for responding.
It is the same for any report, but for example, the Sales Master Detail report is Sage 200 Evolution. If your date range is such that the number of rows returned by the query exceeds approximately 50 000 rows, SI returns an error when rendering the data to Excel, as shown in the attached screen shot. This means that the client is unable to analyse the sales history, in detail, for a full year in one report.
Hi Mathew
This is then most likely a memory issue. Check the amount of available memory on that PC, then try running the same report on another machine with more memory, it should run out.
Check out the following link...
We have used this successfully to increase the memory usage in the BICore.exe to run with extra rows - and reduce the instances where this error impacts reports..

Thanks Mattski!!!
Appreciate your advise above!
I tried this, but could not get it to work. Gives error message "Couldn't open executable" when trying to run the 4gb_patch on BICore.exe. Works successfully on notepad.exe. Any ideas?
Hi Mathew
Can you please paste a screenshot of the error in this chat?
Kind Regards
Bennie
Notes:
When using the patch up, you may receive a message "Couldn't open executable"
Make sure the exe is not flagged read only, and may need to copy to another location first. e.g. copy it out of the C:\program files area to another "unprotected folder".
Then copy back once patched.
Excellent, thank for the valuable advice, Mattski!
