Sales Master Detail report on Sage Evolution does not have quantities if using 3 stage invoicing

SOLVED

When running the Sales Master Detail report on Sage Evolution when using 3 stage invoicing, I.e. issuing stock and invoicing the customer as separate transactions, the item quantities on the report are zero. The Invoice values are correct.

Is there a new version of the container that addresses this?

    Find below the work around solution that Mathew applied in his case:

    'If I can recall, the work around we had was to reduce the columns in the report to the bare minimum and then get the customer to select a shorter date range for the report.

    They have since started using Power BI for these type of reports as Sage Intelligence couldn’t handle the volume.'

    Please consider the following solution to resolve the above issue:

    Please first note that this article assumes you have a back understanding of navigating and using the Sage Intelligence Centre.

    1. Within the Evolution company, go to Administration | Connector
    2. In here find the relevant Container for the report and open it

     

    1. Find the following section

       --UNION 2 - ST TRANSACTIONS

    1. Replace the field for the Quantity from

                Quantity = P.ActualQuantity

                to

                Quantity = P.ActualQuantityInvoiced

    1. When done, save the changes
    2. Doing this should now return the expected and correct quantities when rerunning the report

    Sorry for the late response.

    Yes, indeed you would need the  advanced Sage Intelligence module to accomplish it as you need to have access to the SI Connector.
