Windows Home and Single Language in a multi-user setup

Good day Community,

We have noticed in the last couple of months that several of our multi-user customers have one or more machines running Windows Home or Windows Home single language on the PC's. We would like to remind you that these Operating Systems are NOT compatible with a multi-user setup. You will need to run Windows Pro or higher. Microsoft themselves do not recommend Home or Single Language for a multi-user office network. It is called Home for a reason as it lacks the networking capabilities that an office environment requires.

To add to this, we also urge you to stay up to date with your Operating System software. Windows XP, 7, 8 and 8.1 as well as Server 2003, 2008 R are no longer supported by Windows, which means no updates. No new updates result in out of date security protocols and Windows features. Many newer versions of applications like Sage 50cloud Pastel Accounting require the updated Windows features in order to run optimally.

Before you purchase a new PC or replace your old hardware, we urge you to please check the system requirements for ALL the software that will need to be run on the new PC and ensure it meets the system requirements.
