You did not mention at what point you are getting the error, however please try the below KB for the error and let me know if that resolves the issue for you.

Description
When logging into Web Screens the following error occurs: "An unexpected problem has occurred. Please try again or contact your administrator for assistance."

Cause
Possible causes:
• Unhandled Exception error is shown in Event Viewer.
• This issue may be caused by The Web Screens Proxy not selected from the Sage 300 installation list.
• May be caused by having FIPS enabled on the IIS Server.
• May be caused in Google Chrome when the browser asks if you like to remember the username and password
• May be caused in Internet Explorer if Intranet Sites are set to use compatibility view.

Resolution
Numerous causes require different resolutions:
1. Disable FIPS.
2. Web Screens Proxy should be installed when Web Screens is installed.
3. Reinstall Web Screens
4. Set the browser to either remember or never remember and the error won't occur on subsequent logons.

Hi, the error appears when I log in and continues to appear when I continue to navigate.

The weird thing is I can continue working but the message keeps popping up.

I have reinstalled already but have not tried disabling FIPS which I will do and provide feedback.
