We have 3 general ledger accounts (Stock, VAT Input and Creditors) that the year end closing balance is different than the opening balance of the next year. The next year this problem is miraculously fixed by itself.

For example in the Creditors ledger account for the year 2020 the closing balance is 200.000 and the opening balance of 2021 is 215.000 (15.000 difference). Then the closing balance of 2021 is 250.000 and the opening balance of 2022 is 235.000 (15.000 difference)

How do we fix this problem and what causes it?
