Sage 200 Evolution V10 to Sage 300 ERP

SUGGESTED

Is there any migrating tool for Transfer of Sage 200 Evolution Database into Sage 300 ERP?

I have recently subcribed to Sage 300 ERP (On-Premise) Solution and my old system is Sage 200 EVolution. Is there any tool where all my transactions gets migrated with Sage 300 ERP.

    Good Afternoon

Sorry no, we don't have any kind of Evolution to Sage 300 migration tool available.

However, it's possible to easily export all of the master records (Customers, Suppliers, Inventory Items and GL accounts) out of the Evolution company into a MS Excel file format, that can then be imported into your new Sage 300 company.

A simple way in doing this is to make use of the Save Grid button in the top of all the modules' main Maintenance grid screens (after inserting all the columns that need to be exported)

For example, on the Supplier Maintenance grid this is what you'll see:

After that you can simply post opening balance journals on the newly imported records in the Sage 300 company. This is to ensure your Sage 300 company's opening period balances agree with your Evolution company s closing period balances per individual records.

This implies the AR / AP Age Analysis, Inventory Valuation, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Income Statement etc.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

As Bennie has mentioned, no migration tool is available for Sage 200 to Sage 300.

If you are able to extract the Master File and Transaction Information from Sage 200, then you will be transfer the Master File and Transaction information to Sage 300. We are able to assist in this regard.
Otherwise, you will have to make use of Bennie Solution of Master File information and Take On Balances.

    Thanks Hemant

I can also add the following: With the Sage Evolution Data Import / Export module you should also be able to export transaction history, including the header and transaction line details of your source documents (e.g. Invoices and GRV)

Once exported into Excel, a Sage 300 expert consultant may then perhaps be able to import it into the new Sage 300 company?

    Kind Regards
