Does Sage X3 support scaling of Sage X3 component instances, on demand (which means, things can be automagically discovered and continue as if nothing happened)?

This was a question posted to me from an AWS provider since the AWS provider is very interested in provisioning AWS Auto-Scaling feature.

As far as I remember, the syracuse web nodes are controlled by Administration > Host manually and addition of runtimes (Application Cluster) requires in advance configuration with known address to application shared folder path.
