LDAP X3 V6.5 P37 Settings

We have set the LDAP annuaire, the issue we face is that we have to enter the password of the service account directly in the table ANNUAIRE.

If we use the small screen to enter the password directly from X3 the password is encrypted and the LDAP connection is not possible anymore

    Couple of questions:

    1- Is this a new implementation? Was it working before?

    2- Any changes , like installing new patch?

    3- Maybe the password using is too complex .

    It is a new setting we never used the ldap for sage yet. 

    I have tried with my windows account with a basic password and same issue. I have to enter it in the database to be able use the annuaire.

    More information with the settings:

    i am able when I try to connect to update the user data like email DN phone Name but the connection fails on the password.

    the 2 issues looks to be related. 

    If I place a debug in the source generated for my annuaire I can see that the connection to ldap is ok and that sage is getting the fields requested but still fails after that on the check of password.
