I'm trying to enter a flat fee amount for a client but must be doing something wrong because the flat fee amount adds on each month instead of being a one-time charge. Can someone please help me?
You probably setup the flat fee as "perpetual". Perpetual means charge the fee every time I generate a bill. What you really want to do is set the flat fee as "job". Job means charge it the first bill and then don't charge again until the arrangement is complete and I start a new arrangement.
