Attempted to read damaged data error when deleting slip

SUGGESTED

Hello. Users are receiving the following error when they create a new template or slip, add time, then try to delete it:

Closing and reopening Timeslips has had no effect. Right now they are having to set the time for these slips to zero and it's causing a bunch of blank slips to show up on billing docs. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Here are a few more screenshots.  There appears to be an issue with record 1526. Each user reports the same error message. Where would we look for a record within a Planner Security table?

Hmm, sounds like you are using version 2018, is that correct?

Hmm, looks like from the version number that you are using version 2018 is that correct? Because your error message references a BDE error code, and that is a bit odd with v2018, I would have expected it to be a Firebird SQL error instead.

And you have some corruption in your security tables. Specifically record 1526 which I suspect is some sort of a security template since it is affecting more than one user.  If I were tackling this, I'd want to go "under the hood" and check what that record is first. Then try to edit or remove/replace that record.

I would not expect that you are going to be able to fix that without some help, and if it is v2018, then Sage is not going to help you since it is "unsupported." Your best option would be to contact a Certified Consultant for assistance with it.

The good news is that it is the security table and not the slip table, so once you get it straightened out, all the billable items should be fine.
