How do I reprint very old bills that were created in Timeslips Deluxe?

I am currently working with Timeslips 2017 for a single user within Windows 10 Pro and I also have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I have been trying to view and to print out old bills now that were created when I was using Timeslips 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2015, that is, earlier versions of Timeslips Deluxe.  But I have been unable to view the old bills and it now turns out that I cannot reprint them at all.  Specifically, when I try to print an old bill created by Timeslips Deluxe, I get this error message:  "The graphic image of this bill was created in Timeslips Deluxe.  It lacks enough information to print to a PDF file.  Please print to the printer instead."  This error message occurs regardless of the fact that I have selected my HP Laserjet 400 M401 printer instead of Adobe Acrobat. In short, I cannot display the old bill for viewing and the old bill will not print to either my HP Laserjet printer or a PDF in Adobe Acrobat.  Is there any other way to view or print the old bills created in Timeslips Deluxe?  Which file or files are the old bill images stored in?

Timeslips only stores a certain number of bill images per client. Beyond that, images created in Timeslips Deluxe, even if they were within the number stored could have problems because of the formatting. Two possibilities:

    1. If you are printing to the screen and then the printer, try printing directly to a printer. Most likely this won't work but you can try.

    2. Run a history bill. While this won't look exactly the same, it can come pretty close. This is usually found under reports > billing  > history bill for the courts.

I think it is worth asking why you are trying to print such old bills? Also Timeslips Deluxe would usually reference versions 6-8 of the old 16-bit version of the program, not version 2008 or higher.  So that part is a little confusing.

The inability to print directly to the printer 'could' be related to the much newer printer driver/technology than the old version would have ever known about.

As Caren has suggested, perhaps the History Bill for the Court would be either "just as good" or better for your purpose.

Thanks for your input, Caren.  Based on the error message: "The graphic image of this bill was created in Timeslips Deluxe.  It lacks enough information to print to a PDF file.  Please print to the printer instead", I'm guessing that the bill images are from the Timeslips versions 6-8, as Nancy Duhon stated, and taking her comments with yours about the stored number of images, I won't be able to review or print the old bills. And I tried the history bill recommendation, but I'm not having any success there, getting only a message that there's no data selected.

Thanks for your input, Nancy. I'm not fixated on printing the old bills, I just want to be able to view them or if that's not goign to work, then to print them. But based on the error message: "The graphic image of this bill was created in Timeslips Deluxe.  It lacks enough information to print to a PDF file.  Please print to the printer instead", I'm guessing that the bill images are from the Timeslips versions 6-8, as you noted, and taking Caren's comments with yours about the stored number of images, I won't be able to review or print the old bills. And I tried the history bill recommendation, but I'm not having any success there, getting only a message that there's no data selected.
