PC Law Conversion and Satellite Office

I'm a professional bookkeeper who has been using a combo of Timeslips and QB to manage a boutique law firm (for the last 20 years).  One of the associates is leaving to start a partnership with another attorney and hired me to work for the new firm as well.  There are some complications I'm hoping for help (to hire help) with.

The other partner in the new firm has been using PCLaw.  I will need all his information transferred to Timeslips.  Has anyone done this before?  Is there anyone in the San Jose, CA area that has done this before that we can hire to take care of it and set things up properly?

And then we will need a full access version of Timeslips set up at two different physical locations with a shared database via the internet.  Anyone have any experience setting something like this up (using our IT guy or hiring a TS expert.  Not going to attempt this myself)?  I've contacted the TS sales team on this in the past and they never have any solutions other than eCenter.  But I can't imagine I work for the only small law firm with satellite offices.  There must be a way to do this.

Many Thanks,  Rachel Taylor

I can help with transfer to Timeslips but should discuss if that is really best way to go. For sharing across locations you either have to go to a hosted environment, setup Remote Desktop access or setup some other access to the data in the office. Timeslips needs a shared server environment. You can email me at caren at timeandcents dot com and we can discuss options and process. I am in Connecticut but can work remotely.
