Timeslips 2017

Posted By FormerMember

Our firm purchased the 2017 timeslips from Sage (now retired) and wanted to upload the program to a work laptop. The version we purchased was a multistation upgrade, however now because Sage has retired the version, they will not allow us to download nor can we get any assistance without purchasing a completely new service plan.

We are not having any issues with the program itself, just want to download one of the copies we already paid for to another computer. Can anyone assist or offer any advice on this issue?

If you just want It on a workstation you don’t need to download, just install from the loclinst folder on the server. This is the correct way to install. All computers use same path to the cfg file. Browse to the folder and run setup

is correct. There should be no need to reinstall the main program from scratch.  (Indeed doing so is only likely to give you grief.) Read your Help documentation on how to run a "local install" to get a workstation connected to your multistation license.
