Replacement Slip order?

Is it possible to set the order in which replacement slips appear on the invoice?

For example, we create a slip for the summary of work, another slip for "Travel Time (non-taxable)", and "Produce Report".  I would like the summary first, followed by the Report, with the Travel Time listed last.

I have not been able to figure out how to specify the order for the replacement slips.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

Off the cuff, I'd try setting the bill sort to be first by date, then by activity.  Alphabetically, the Report slip should appear before the Travel Time summary.

    Hope this helps.

"Bill Sort"?  :D .. something new to me.  How do I do a "bill sort"?

(Hi Nancy!  You are always a great help!)

I figured out "bill sort" ... and it worked!  The replacement slips are now in the desired order.

    Thanks!

    I spoke too soon.

I was able to do the "bill sort" (beside the print button i the "Billing Assistant" screen).  When I print to display it shows it sorted correctly, however when I actually print the invoice it reverts back to being out of order again.

So... please explain "bill sort".  Are there different steps to make this happen?

    Thanks!

There is a sort under Options in Billing Assistant, but the Generate Bills, Sort tab may also need a visit.

    Hope this helps.
