I've had a back and forth with Sage about this. "LINENO" is reserved sql syntax. What I have done to work around this is create a custom sql view so that "LINENO" uses an alias.  The caveat to this workaround is that your crystal report then has to connect to the data through ODBC because your custom view will not be in the Abra/HRMS data dictionary and will not be recognized by the Abra Data Access connection type. This also means that the report has to be ran from crystal designer. The out of the box report preview is still using a lot of Visual Fox Pro and can only use reports with the Abra Data Access connection type.

Yeah, it is kind of a stink work around but it has worked well for our clients who needed to report on optional field values that we setup at the check detail level.
