Weekly Question Challenge (29) - Do you know the answer?

We have ANOTHER odd week because it is going to be Tuesday through Friday because I was out of the office yesterday.  We are moving to a new topic this week. The topic is Time Off and posting Absence transactions to the Previous Year.

1.  After the accrual year has been closed, what is the requirement for posting an absence transaction to that previous year?

  • The employee must have not taken any time in the new plan year
  • The employee must have accrued hours in the new plan year
  • The employee must have carryover hours from the last year
  • No requirement, it is deducted from this year’s plan

2.  If you posted an absence transaction to the previous year and you delete if from the Absence Transaction Page, what happens?

  • You get a message telling you that you can’t delete an absence transaction from a closed plan
  • The hours are returned to the Carryover
  • The hours are returned to the Taken Column
  • Nothing changes, the transaction is gone, and the Carryover hours stay the same

See you on Friday!
