We are upgrading our Sage HRMS from FoxPro to SQL.  We have a custom timesheet system that was developed internally and need to update scripts that pull from ABRA.   Does anyone know where the old PRALLOC.DBF table maps to in the SQL version?  Its not listed in the data dictionary.

  • Hi Erica,

Since your post relates directly to Sage HRMS, I am going to move it to that Support Group so that other users of this software will see it and can offer their thoughts and insight.

    Thanks,

    Hi Erica,

We just recently migrated from Abra Suite to the SQL version Sage HRMS and the labor allocations panel goes away (pralloc) in this version. You have to do all your allocations thru the timecard, either manually or setting up a reusable timecard that has the allocation setup and you modify when needed. We actually felt the reusable time card was too hard to manage, as we had one person with 8 different cost centers and if he happened to have vacation time, regular time and holiday time in the same pay period, that was 24 entries for him just to allocate his time. Fortunately we only have a dozen or so people we need to do this for.

In version 2015 of Sage HRMS there is something called Employee Earnings Distribution. This allows you to distribute earnings of selected employees to multiple cost centers. Only earnings that have been pre-assigned to the employee can be set up for distribution, but after you have set up an employee, all payrolls processed for the employee will be distributed without the need to do so on the timecard, After entering the timecards you will need to run a step on the payroll processing map called "Distribute Earnings."
