The "Creating Local Data Caches" process is broken. Can we get it removed?

Is this where we give suggestions for product changes?

The "Creating Local Data Caches" process started pulling in the records from syaudit after the Q4 update and now runs twice. It builds, finishes and then rebuilds. For one company that has 2000 employees total, the process takes 90 seconds to run. Sage Support stated that we would need to backup the database, then delete or archive terminated employees and restore that backup to the sample database. The problem we discovered was that when you do that it automatically hooks up to the Payroll DB and you can make changes to the live PR data in sample.

The cache process seems to be designed to speed things up when switching from employee to employee, but the issue with that is that when you go from "Attendance Summary" to "Absence Transactions" and back again while staying on the same employee, the process has to run again. This turns simple tasks that used to take seconds, now takes minutes per employee.

When the Q4 update was installed, it started crashing the application. We had to delete syaudit records down to the last 6 months in order to get it working again.

This process should be removed and reverted to the older operation because it actually exacerbates the problem is was intended to alleviate.
