    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out. Did you ever find an answer for this issue?

The article: How to enter negative earnings on time sheets suggests the below steps:

    1. From the Navigation Pane, select Payroll, Process Payroll, Enter/Update Time sheet
    2. Enter the Pay Period End Date, Select the Employer, the Pay Group and the employee. On the line item for the earning code, highlight the hours field
    3. Press the 'F12' key on the keyboard and the system will enter a negative sign before the number
    4. Save the time sheet and continue as needed

Hope this helps! If you are still looking for guidance, please let us know and we can try to point you in the right direction or suggest some resources or next steps.

    Warm Regards,

    Hi Erzsi,

The steps you mentioned above works well in Sage ABRA but does not in Sage HRMS, which I now use due to ABRA being retired.

I used the 'F12' key often in ABRA as I could easily edit payroll history such as changing vacation hours to sick leave hours, etc.

Their does not appear to be an easy method in HRMS.

    Thanks for responding!
