After importing payroll data, If there are adjustments to an employee, does SAGE deduct those adjustments after calculating the Payroll?

When a transaction history (adjustment) is saved, it will appear on your reports with the exception of the Payroll Register. Transaction history will flow through to quarterly and year-end report, where applicable. A payroll does not need to be run. Another way of making an adjustment is through the timecard. For a timecard to be processed, a payroll will need to be run. To better answer your question, I would need more information such as where the adjustment was made and whether it is to an earning, deduction, tax or benefit.
