Aatrix W2 Grid not Displaying PA Income Taxes.

The Aatrix W2 grid does not show any of the PA income taxes. The PA LST taxes are showing in the grid. The tax codes are setup correctly in Sage HRMS and have deducted throughout the year. The tax codes are showing in the setup list in Aatrix and have been marked as income tax. Anyone else run into the issue or have ideas on troubleshooting?

    Hi Jenny,

You should be using the out of the box local taxes from the repository that start with PA and end with four numbers, for example PA1907 "Lower Saucon TP, Saucon Vallyue SD (NR) LST" . In the employee tab of the tax code you can update the value for W2 Reporting. Also, there is a step before the Aatrix grid is generated that is a screen for State and Local Tax  Items that will let you map the PA state local tax codes, name them and select the tax type. In the example I provided I labeled the tax LSTSVS and as an other income tax which had it appear in the grid in Box18 with the column label LSTSVS. I have not heard about any reported issues with PASIT. That is an out of the box tax and only requires the Reporting ID to be updated in order to integrate with Aatrix.

    best,

I did recently run into an issue with PA local taxes. If you have a local tax that is not appearing on your grid it could be a resident tax that has a non resident equivalent. Both taxes have to be setup for the employee and included in payroll calculations for the tax to appear in the grid.
